I just caught Anthony Bourdain’s amusing “Returning to cook at Les Halles restaurant in NY” episode on a United Airlines flight and I don’t want to be a politically incorrect jerk but when Anthony, when you worked at this French restaurant a few years ago, was all the work conducted in Spanish? Did the entire kitchen crew of some 40+ people come from Mexico like now? I wonder what the owner of Les Halles pays those workers. Do you know? Do you think they are even getting minimum wage? Are there any waiters of Mexican origin taking orders from the English speaking diners for the French food? Boy, ya gotta wonder — does the French owner Phillipe also conduct everything in Spanish??!!!

I, like several others apparently, found this page while googling to see if anthony were gay or not. He just reminds me of a gay couple my wife and I are friends with. The earing, thumb ring, and mannerisms had me convinced. I like how one person got all defensive when this was brought up. I’d stll like his show just fine; people google random shit all the time while sitting on the couch. Google ‘anthony bourdain gay’ and you’ll see this has been brought up numerous times.

Oh, definitely. Goodness knows, if he were gay his show would suddenly be worthless, he’d turn into a crappy chef and his ability as a writer would dissolve into a sea of gaygaygayness.

Tony, when ur tired, and want to retire from doing “No Reservations” or just need a break, I’ll give it a go…. You appear to need a break with the impending birth of ur first child and I will reluctantly volenteer my foodie abilities and seek out that which excites the common palete in the various cultures laden with endless flavors and textures. I promise not to stray to far from ur bouyant adjectives enhancing even the most blandest of lack luster tasteless substanances. I’m sure I will be able to ace the liquid refreshment segments, like u, without a hitch. If its frosty cold and chilly, no blem, like our winters here in Wisconsin, our bars know how to accomodate. Noted for a city that knows how to drink, Milwaukee has trained me well. If I can be any help, just let me know ! Take care Tony, God Bless u my brother !
