    I love your shows.. especially the one on Osaka during Obon… If you REALLY want to see Obon.. you must venture to Nagasaki,Japan… and bring ear plugs!! If you stay at the Holiday Inn on Hamani Machi.. all you have to do is to roll out of bed..through the bar and on to the main street.. Hamani Machi!! (Make “reservations” now…knowing Obon.. they will be booked wayyyyyyyy in advance!! ) I am a south Jersey girl.. first time out of the country (let alone Jersey!!) and have been living in nagasaki for almost two years now…

    Even though I loved your episode on Osaka… Nagasaki is the town to be in…….absolutely wonderful….the people .. the Yen Stores (are to die for) you just have to watch out for the literally … little ole ladies running through the markets!!!

    Unfortunately.. we will be leaving Nagasaki in March 2008… I hate to go…especially back to a society of mistrust… you never have to worry about loosing anything here.. they WILL return it!! with a bow!!

    Oh.. by the way… the plastic food is wonderful…just hurts a hell of a lot coming out!!!and as far as hair days…. I can only wish my hair would look as good as these Japanese men~

    … On a comment regarding the show Kitchen Confidential…How did fox really allow this show to happen? I am upset they tarnished the good name of Anthony Bourdain beyond what he could do on his own. This show serves no right to carry his last name or even a suggestion of anything he has done to even compliment a part of his career. This is a bastardized version of his book that fox is trying to exploit for a bad reason. Fox has showed that they cannot stand the heat so get the hell out of the kitchen.I would really like to know how they got this approved.

    my husband & i love your show’s some much,you are just the coolest kindest guy ever,and we have been watching you since you first came on tv.
    my husband wants all your books & dvds for his birthday. he is permanently disabled.
    it would be agreat honor to have a signed photograph of you for my husband.
    we love you MR.Bourdain and keep up the excellent work.
    and we would watch you any day over zimmerman his show is just to gross.

    Anthony B is the greatest!! I love your show on the travel channel!! Food network has to many R.Ray.And B.Flay shows!!Enough Is Enough!! Give someone else a chance!!I’m sure there are plenty of people out there can cook.And entertain!!I am tired of the same ones getting all the shows!!How much $$$ do they need!!

    You are the disgusting. And, shame on you. Paula Deen has wonderful recipes. Moderation is what we all must do no matter what we choose to eat. We dine out and use the same rule. Why are you so mean. I will never watch you again until you give Paula an apology.

    You are disgusting. And, shame on you, Anthony! Paula Deen has wonderful recipes for people such as I who enjoy different cuisines! Shame on “you”! Who are you to think you can say such hurtful things about your co-workers! You are such a “little man” to be so insensitive to the world of “The Food Network Channel” and the “Travel Channel”. At one time, I enjoyed watching your program with a little reservations, but I will make arrangements to watch a different channel until I see and hear you have made a public apology to Paula Deen and now for goodness sake, I’ve heard on the news that you have now gone so far as to bash, Rachel Ray! Good gosh! What in the world are you thinking! So sad and disapointing of you! One of these days, you will realize what matters and what doesn’t. It matters so little how much you may own, the places you’ve been or the people you’ve known. It all comes to nothing when placed at “HIS” feet, it’s just memories to keep. How sad it is when one person on this earth puts down another human being. You are truly a disapointment to me and my family! The Travel Channel should think of a replacement for you if you don’t posses any more professionalism that what you have displayed in the media lately. I hope to hear you have made a public apology!

    You are a freak!! Shame on you for saying ANYTHING about Paula Deen. You should be off TV and any other media sort for life!! FYI, I have been eating GOOD FOOD like Paula Deen cooks for ages and I am physically fit, my blood tests are all normal and YOU, idiot, are just that, an idiot. God has a way of getting back at devils which is what you are!!
